Due to continued growth, a leading manufacturer of plastics products is actively seeking an Injection Moulding Technician to join their team. Working within the Manufacturing department you will be involved in the implementation of innovative products and initiatives to help improve efficiencies and waste.
  • �34,000- �39,000, continental shift, 31 days holiday ****
As Injection Moulding Technician your duties will include -
  • Setting machine and processing equipment to specification.
  • Carry out tool changes to procedures and to standard tool change times.
  • Working with development teams to introduce new materials, production or processing technology.
  • Ensuring optimisation of machines and equipment to achieve continuous production.
  • Maximising production efficiencies by performing Lean, Kaizen and 5S activities and ascertain machine capability using SPC.
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Technician, the ideal candidate will -
  • Be an experienced Plastics Injection Moulding Setter or Technician.
  • Have experience of setting machines / optimising processes / process trials & validation.
  • Possess a good knowledge of the properties and processing behaviour of polymer materials.
