An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Apprentice to join our IT Department based at our Scunthorpe Site, reporting into the IT Manager. The purpose of the role is to provide daily support to the IT Manager to ensure the completion of a variety of IT support & administration duties.

Duties will involve:

  • Providing first line telephone and email-based support to end users throughout the business – for hardware, software, audio visual, photocopiers and telephone equipment
  • Managing the setup and configuration of new devices to be deployed throughout the business – desktops/laptops/phones/printers
  • Assisting with the logging and upkeep of IT Inventory
  • Monitoring daily IT tasks
  • General administrative duties including typing correspondence by e-mail and letter
  • Entering data onto internal systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintaining the filing system, as well as IT documentation
  • Producing a variety of reports as requested
