We have a newly created opportunity for an Infrastructure Project Managerto join us at Stannah, reporting to the Head of IT Project Management Office (PMO).

This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work from from home and in the office.

The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of IT infrastructure projects to Stannah’s business community, in support of the business strategy and portfolio. The project portfolio is aligned with the architecture and infrastructure teams and will have a primary focus on core infrastructure and end user computing projects, with a secondary focus on wider IT projects.

The Infrastructure Project Manager will plan, manage and lead projects from concept through to successful delivery, including allocation and coordination of business analysts, technical resources, suppliers and budgets and business adoption. Contributing to the definition, establishment and following PMO standards for project delivery lifecycle.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager who is confident to liaise with other functional areas of IT to ensure adherence to technical architecture standards, quality assurance of change delivery and impact assessment of change on operations, and technical support and service management teams.

To be successful in the role of Infrastructure Project Manager you will be able to demonstrate that you have business and technical awareness of Microsoft platforms, Cisco, Network Infrastructure, security and application technologies.

It is essential that you have a high level of level of IS/IT business awareness and a hands on technical background.

Ideally as the Infrastructure Project Manager you will have proven experience of managing people (direct and indirect), and also managing global projects. Significant experience in a similar project management role is required, along with excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce, maintain and be accountable for the project delivery plan, project budget and financial forecast
  • Work with Line Managers and Finance and take responsibility for ensuring the timely availability of resources
  • Propose, and use, various delivery models, such as Waterfall or Agile (or a hybrid of the two), to ensure the most efficient delivery of the various components of the project
  • Act as the ‘scrum master’ in coordinating the delivery of Agile components
  • Take accountability for reporting to senior stakeholders and project sponsors on progress to date
  • Lead project meetings and communications, ensuring all project team members are aligned
  • Maintain the project risk log, and take accountability for the timely escalation and resolution of issues or risks

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

  • Detailed knowledge of Project frameworks e.g. PRINCE2 or PMP
