The Role…

We are now seeking to recruit an IT Professional to work within our Head office in Rugby.

Daily Responsibilities to include…

  • 1st Line support for helpdesk issues
  • Providing end user support for all hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, phones)
  • Laptop and Desktop builds
  • Daily and Weekly checks of company I.T systems
  • Resolving or raising issues from the daily and weekly checks
  • Supporting the patch management system for all I.T systems for critical and security patches
  • Enrolment of all corporate devices into current MDM solution
  • Escalate IT issues within the team where necessary
  • 1st line Troubleshooting all computer systems, hardware, software, and networks

Who we want…

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Previous experience working on a helpdesk is essential
  • Demonstrable experience with (TCP/IP, LAN and WAN)
  • Active Directory, Group policy
  • Basic Office 365 knowledge to provide admin and support
  • Desktop and Laptop hardware knowledge (Hyper V, VMware (Build & Configure)
  • Networking – Switch/ Router/ Firewalls (Install and Configurations)
  • Administration of Meraki Devices
  • Cloud backup solutions
  • SharePoint administration

Based on 37 hours per week Monday to Friday we offer a very competitive salary starting at £23,000.00 and based on experience and knowledge.

Due to the nature of the business and the role, the successful candidate must be willing and able to travel to other Quartzelec business Units within the UK occasionally.
