Hooray are proud to be supporting a local Independent School to assist in the recruitment for an IT Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As an IT Manager you will:

  • Oversee and maintain the establishments infrastructure and digital security
  • Lead the internal IT team; prioritising and delegating activity, managing performance and deliverables
  • Collaborate with the managed service provider, evaluate their performance and manage service legal agreements
  • Plan, implement and deliver technology strategies that enable staff and pupils to work and study effectively
  • Coordinate and deliver systems training
  • Mentor team members in their development and support qualifications

To be successful as an IT Manager, you will:

  • Have a proven IT management
  • Have a track record of collaborating with third party-provided services
  • Have experience of using Data Analysis and Business Intelligence tools
  • Have an understanding of virtualisation, network management, cyber security and cloud
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft business applications, including Microsoft 365

It would be desirable to have an understanding of the education sector, however, not essential.

My client are offering an annual salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience.
