Full-Time, fixed-term contract (12 month maternity cover)

Starting Salary is£36,438 per annum inclusiveof London Allowance.This is the expected starting salary for this post however appointment at a higher point may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and experience relevant to the role.

Applications are invited for the fixed-term post of Information Consultant for the School of Performing and Digital Arts, based in the Library Services.

As an Information Consultant within the Library’s Academic Liaison team, you will take a lead role in providing services, support and advocacy to the University. Key tasks of this role include the creation and delivery of engaging information literacy teaching, efficient collection management and building effective working relationships between the Library and the School of Performing and Digital Arts (comprising of the Departments of Music, Media Arts, and Drama, Theatre and Dance).

You will have demonstrable experience of providing strong user-focused services within an academic environment, and have a good grounding in providing information resources for teaching and research. You will have a keen interest in continuing to develop and promote the role of the library at all levels of the University. You will be an enthusiastic teacher, with experience of delivering innovative and engaging information literacy training within degree programmes.
