INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIANS FOR INTEL PROJECT IRELAND

We have multiple opportunities for site based Electricians to join our growing team reporting to the Site Supervisor. The successful candidates will be part of the current team responsible for the glanding and terminating of cable installation in large scale Industrial and Commercial units. The roles are primarily based on projects in the Leinster region but on occasion may be required to work elsewhere in Ireland.

Main Duties:

Carry out all electrical and associated duties, including:

  • Carry out industrial electrical installation, maintenance and /or servicing work
  • Carry out glanding, terminating and testing of installed cables up to 4 Core 300mm2 SWA, A2 Cables up to 1C X 500mm2.
  • Good knowledge of drawings and cable schedules.
  • Supervising apprentices, assist with on-the-job training and development of staff as required
  • Liaise with all site teams to identify and close out on quality issues
  • Right first time work ethic.
  • Report know defects.
  • Have a comprehensive tool chest necessary to carry out industrial electrical installations.
  • Be flexible and willing to work in various locations throughout Ireland.
  • Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by management.

Requirements:

  • Relevant electrical qualification
  • English speaking to B1 level
  • Permission to work and reside in Ireland and/or EU
  • Previous experience in Data Centres would be desirable but not essential
  • Basic Hand tools
  • Must be self-motivated willing to take direction from all departments within company
  • Be hands-on and adaptable, prepared to tackle any job
  • Strong Health and Safety awareness with strict adherence to guidelines
