Are you passionate about mental health and looking for a role where you can make a difference every day? We are looking for a caring individual with experience in mental health or Autism to join our Community Inclusion Team in Wigan, Greater Manchester. You will have access to your own car and be a driver.

The role is Monday to Friday and you will provide care and support to individuals with mental health needs or Autism during the day in the borough of Wigan. You will be paid for travel time and will be able to claim mileage as per our policy. You will be able to plan and manage your own caseload and be a keen support worker.

Creative Support, a not-for-profit provider of social care services, is pleased to be working in partnership with Wigan Council to provide Wigan Wellbeing and Resilience- PLUS service.

Your Role Will Include
  • Encouraging and linking individuals into community networks of support,
  • Support with domestic and tenancy related tasks,
  • Enabling independence in and around the home,
  • Promoting and improving overall wellbeing,
  • Signposting individuals to specialist services.

You must have up to one year’s experience as a support worker or have worked in a care environment. Full training is provided.
