Here at Veritas Education I am currently looking to recruit a strong and experienced support worker on behalf of my partner secondary school based in the Dewsbury area. You will be working on a one to one/small group basis supporting pupils that have been removed from mainstream lessons temporarily within their on site alternative provision. You will be making sure pupils learning is continuing and providing plans of action to allow them to move back into the mainstream site. If you have experience of working with challenging pupils and wish to work in a rewarding and ever changing role, this opportunity is for you.
  • Full-time position starting as soon as possible
  • Temporary to permanent contract
  • Good rated secondary school in Dewsbury

Requirements
  • Experience of working with challenging behaviour
  • Patient positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Enhanced DBS on update service - can be applied through Veritas
