In-House Training Supervisor

Job Ref: 0048

Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager the successful applicant will.

  • Deliver training in multiple disciplines including, but not limited to, Lift and REACH truck, manual handling, first aid, employee safety inductions (Additional training will be provided for the successful candidate)
  • Maintaining employee training records
  • Maintaining and updating training materials
  • Organising training for sites and employees
  • Equipment safety inspections
  • Identify training gaps within the business
  • Supporting the Transport Department with low level training
  • Annual testing of electrical equipment (PAT)
  • Remain up to date with current regulations, legislation, and process changes relating to training and equipment

Essential -must hold in date forklift truck instructor qualification (ITSSAR, RTITB, CITB).

This is a mobile role covering the areas of the Northwest, North East and Scotland

The successful candidate must be able to communicate at all levels, be familiar with Word and excel, motivated and well organised, willing to travel with nights away as required. Ideally the candidate will hold, but is not essential, Level 3 Teaching Award.
