In-House Legal Counsel

Remote / UK

Award-winning, international architecture practice seeks talented Lawyer to join their in-house legal team on a contract basis for ten months. The position is offered on a remote basis and can offered on either full time or part time basis.

This stimulating position will see you reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and ancillary documents including: sub-consultancy agreements, novation agreements, contract amendments and ancillary construction documents.

You will be involved in international contract negotiations for multimillion pound projects and advise key stake holders on contract interpretation, disputes and wider compliance and business issues.

Due to the complex nature of the role and the international element of the business, you will inevitably be confronted with some situations which may be unfamiliar to you. In these instances you will benefit form support from the wider legal team and from external Counsel.

The position is offered on a remote basis although there is the option to spend some time working from one of the firms UK offices and you will be invited to an onsite induction to collect equipment and become familiar with procedures.

The position would be ideally suited to a solutions-focused commercial solicitor with strong business acumen. Knowledge of construction law is high desirable.
