An award-winning software solutions provider is looking to hire an Implementation Manager to join their amazing team based in Lancaster.

The role of the Implementation Manager is to guide new customers through the period of implementation working with the Project Manager to provide clear timescales, milestones, and processes to ensure customer satisfaction and a full adoption of the platform.

As part of the Customer Experience Team, the Implementation Manager alongside the Project Manager will be one of the customers’ first post sales experience of the business.

Early clarification of timeframes, milestones, responsibilities and processes will help to manage expectations moving forward and improve the customer experience. The Implementation Manager’s primary focus is to ensure that each customer is provided with a Training Success Platform and is tasked with achieving a successful implementation on time and within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.

Specific Duties Include
  • Establish a trusted adviser relationship with allocated customers, in unison with a dedicated Project Team that work to ensure customer’s overall satisfaction and product adoption
  • Work closely with other members of the project team including Sales, Customer Success, Trainer and Customer Support Advisor
  • Work closely with the customer’s implementation team to deliver the company’s Proven Process
  • Understand the customers’ requirements and processes to configure the platform to achieve the customer goals and find solutions to customer challenges
  • Ensure all agreed deliverables are achieved, working to agreed timeframes and budget, taking into account the implementation as it evolves
  • Migrate the customer’s data into the platform to ensure successful set-up and business continuity
  • Plan and support customers’ during the launch period to ensure that the customer is set up for success
  • Communicate regularly with the customers and ensure they are aware of any project overrun
  • Record all project activity in the project management tool
  • Escalate and record issues and missed milestones which may influence the outcome of the implementation
  • Identify opportunities for contract growth and pass leads to Customer Success where appropriate

To be considered for the role of Implementation Manager candidates must have:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of project managing software implementations
  • Experience of managing a number of different stakeholders within a project
  • Ability to build rapport with customers across a wide spectrum of industries
  • Advanced Excel/data manipulation skills
  • Time management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communications skills written/ oral
  • Resilient and resourceful
It Is Preferred That The Candidate Also Has
  • Experience in the SaaS industry
