impACT Project Administrator (part-time (0.6fte), fixed term to 26 September 2023)

£23,715 to £27,131 per annum, pro rata

We are looking for a part-time experienced Project Administrator to provide a high level of administrative and operational support to the impACT research group (who work to deliver Research and Engaged Scholarship, Workforce Transformation, Workplace Learning, Consultancy), in the School of Health Sciences.

You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries and correspondence relating to the work of impACT, providing information for the team in relation to regional, national and international activities. You will also work in collaboration with University academic, administrative and support staff and with appropriate external partners including auditors and partner academic, administrative and support staff. You will be an active member of the impACT team, responsible for organising meetings, events and workshops, diary management and minuting meetings, maintaining and monitoring monthly reports, such as audit trails of project income and budget management records, and keeping accurate and effective methods for storing and locating information as required. You will be confident in using social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), digital platforms such as Teams, Zoom and/or Google meet and have experience of developing presentation materials using PowerPoint. It is desirable that you have experience of building, and maintaining up- to-date web content. The role will require you to be confident in proof reading, formatting, and presenting data for business and research impact reports, articles for publication and web-based learning materials (creating tables/info graphics/web content/social media blogs/vlogs) so attention to detail is important and a willingness to learn.

You will have a minimum of five GCSE passes at Grades A-C (or equivalent qualification/experience), including Mathematics and English, and be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification. You will report directly to the full-time Director of the impACT group as your line manager.

This post is available immediately on a part-time (0.6fte), fixed term basis to 26 September 2023, in the first instance.
