Role overview

This Role is an 18-Month Fixed Term Contract

The Royal Osteoporosis Society is the only UK-wide organisation dedicated to finding a cure for osteoporosis and improving the lives of everyone affected by it. We help the nation look after its bones and appreciate the importance of bone health for everybody.

We have big ambitions to support more people towards life-long bone health and reach more of the 3.5million people among us currently affected. To achieve this, we need to understand more about the impact of our services for both the general public and healthcare professionals we work with, and the communities we are supporting who in turn support us. Most importantly, we need to understand the gaps and barriers that exist for those people who might benefit now, and in the future, to enable the design of our services to be led by the people for whom we exist.

In this exciting role, the Impact and Insight Specialist will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating plans and for setting up processes that encourage continuous learning across ROS. Using data from our impact activities, they will help to support innovation within the charity, working across all teams to identify areas for improvement and supporting processes of change management.

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Impact and Insight Specialist will also work to include service users in any evaluation of our performance and plans. By working in partnership with people with lived experience, ROS’s strategy, services and outcomes will more fully reflect what people need.

Our offices are based outside Bath, but we have a very flexible approach. There is flexibility for a blend of working remotely and from the office base, although we would expect a weekly visit to the office in normal circumstances.

To apply, applicants should provide a comprehensive CV, including details of relevant experience and achievements. This should be supplemented by a supporting statement in a cover letter, demonstrating how your skills and experience meet the person specification.

If you are looking to join a fantastic organisation and team where you can really make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

The closing date is midday on Monday 9 August 2021.
