We’re partnering with an expanding private equity firm that is looking for a Financial Controller or Fund Controller to join the team on a permanent basis. You’ll be expected to manage, grow and mentor a finance team, with the anticipation of the firm doubling their AUM in the coming years.

You’ll have gained experience at private equity, VC or real asset fund before, whether that is on the corporate or fund side, and be keen to grow into a position that has potential to become the Head of Finance in the future.

This is a rare and great opportunity to join a firm that is going from strength to strength and really have a say in the development of the team internally.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the CFO to manage the fund and corporate accounting, which includes:
  • Oversight of fund administrators, on drawdowns, distributions, carried interest calculations and assisting with the valuation process
  • Analysing underlying investments for portfolio monitoring purposes
  • Oversight of cash management, UK corporate tax, VAT returns and external payroll providers
  • Management and mentorship of two direct reports
Your Profile
  • Qualified accountant with PE/VC/RE/Infra fund experience (corporate or funds)
  • Detail orientated and highly organised
  • Ambition to grow individually and mentor others
  • Quick learner, able to hit the ground running
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage deadlines
