About the opportunity
We have an exciting position for an ICT Service Desk Officer to join our internal ICT team. This position reports to the ICT System Administration Lead or delegate. You will be required to provide effective ICT support to staff across the Nova Group and help executives meet their strategic and tactical objectives. You will need to liaise very closely with other team members and managers in the ICT Team to help ensure that the team operates as a cohesive collaborative group in supporting the needs of the business.

What you’ll actually do
You’ll be involved in many aspects of ICT operations, with particular responsibilities in;

  • Action and management of service desk jobs in accordance with response and resolution KPIs
  • Configuration and deployment of end user devices (including laptops, phones etc)
  • End user device and application maintenance and support
  • Maintenance and Administration of Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Assisting with maintenance and administration of Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 Platform/Applications
  • Assisting in project support and rolling out new ICT systems
  • Creating and maintaining ICT related documentation

What you’ll need

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • At least one years’ experience working in a business or corporate ICT environment
  • An understanding of the following; Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Application Suite, Office 365 Platform, Apple iOS, Computer Hardware
  • Mac OS X experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a UK MOD security clearance if required
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
