Summary

ICT Business Partner - Based Trowbridge Permanent Contract

Wiltshire Council has strong ambition for how ICT can contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of Council services and assist in the recovery from the Covid pandemic. Part of this is strengthening the existing business partnership service and we seek a skilled and able individual who can join 2 existing business partners and help drive the service to the next level.

About The Role

The role is a demanding one and the successful person will be able to use their extensive knowledge of ICT services and strategy to influence best technology use as well as spotting opportunities where ICT can improve service delivery.

The role requires resilience, diplomacy and the ability to think strategically, sometimes several years ahead. We would be very interested to hear from you if this is your skillset and if you have ambition and drive to make our business partnership service and ICT recognised as the best of its kind.

About You

You will be an expert with significant experience across many of the following areas:
BRM, Service catalogue, Business System Integration, Business Continuity, provision of an ICT service, programme management, portfolio management, project management, transition management
You will have proven experience in an enterprise ICT environment in a lead or influencing role and have excellent communication skills.
You will be able to be concise and accurate and able to convey possibly complex technical detail in a straightforward non-technical language and demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and able to understand, assimilate and interpret, present and communicate complex information
You will have proven ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and have ITIL V3 Foundation and at least one of the Lifecycle module
