Job Title: Hygiene Operative - Day Shift

Reports To: Head Baker/ Head Confectioner


Ole & Steen is on an exciting growth journey – we currently operate 14 retail stores across London and we have plans to grow in 2022! To help us continue delivering quality products to our Retail Bakeries and customers across London we are on the lookout for a Baker to be part of our passionate bakery team at our central production unit in Acton, London.


We operate a demanding and complex production set up, which supports 14 retail stores around London, and requires skills and experience within an artisan bakery and/or confectionary production as well as a focus on process excellence.

Job Overview


Working for our client in Park Royal who produces baked products and is looking for an committed Hygiene Operative to support the Hygiene Team.

You will be expected to help with manual cleaning of the production area using chemical materials and routines set out by the manufacturer
Person Specification -our ideal Hygiene Operative:

Professional Skills

  • Previous experience with cleaning and hygiene in a food environment
  • Ensure excellent hygiene/food safety standards in line with legislation and company policies at all times
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively and safely in a fast paced production environment
  • English – must be able to speak and write English to a good standard

Practicalities


This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), primarily based at our central production unit in Acton, London.


You must adaptable to work flexible working hours, which will include weekends and bank holidays as needed by the business.
