Hybrid Sales/Marketing Manager Ref code: CQB99096898 Engineering, Marketing, Sales £30k - 35k per year Grantham, Lincolnshire, England Permanent Office Based Hybrid Sales/Marketing Manager (Engineering Experience Required) Up to £35,000 (dependant on experience) + Car Allowance + Bonus/Commission Structure Office; Grantham Working Hours; Monday - Friday Flexible working hours (8.00 AM -4.30 PM) 1 Day in the office 4 days working from home. SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Sales/Marketing Manager to be part of an expanding team with a well-established -business who provide precision engineering solutions into a wide client base. As the Sales/Marketing Manager, you will be accountable for generating new business . You will be responsible for guiding new and potential customers through the entire sales process; from the generation of leads and first point of contact to negotiations and deal closure. You will require a strong technical and mechanical background. You will need to be confident in discussing technical requirements with customers and working closely with the internal engineering team to develop the optimum commercial solution. Responsibilities; - Develop and maintain customer relationships with UK and EU trailer manufacturers, truck dealers and converters and the fleet engineers of large fleets - Coordinate exhibiting at key trade shows in the UK and EU - Develop online marketing presence with improved website and social media marketing - Develop a detailed understanding and knowledge of our product range in order to be able to suggest appropriate products to customers - Develop new sales channels for existing products Skills; - Commercially motivated - Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop business relationships - Demonstrable commercial acumen (understanding of gross margin, economies of scale, long term customer relationship value, brand value, etc.) - Strong technical and mechanical background. Confident in discussing technical requirements with customers and working closely with the internal engineering team to develop the optimum commercial solution - A minimum of 2 years of sales or marketing experience - A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel extensively - Knowledge of the commercial vehicle market and/or logistics industry beneficial but not essential - Foreign language skills, especially German or French, beneficial not essential If you think you have the relevant experience for this role please apply online now!
