As a Security & Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for upholding and enhancing their security culture. Your role encompasses various aspects of security administration and risk management, ensuring the integrity and well-being of their workplace.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and manage security protocols in line with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to nurture and improve their security culture.
  • Manage and process security-related cases efficiently.
  • Maintain a comprehensive Personnel Risk Register.
  • Stay updated on security industry developments and integrate necessary changes.
  • Review, develop, and implement company security-related policies and procedures.
  • Organise and deliver security training to their team members.
  • Collaborate with the Security & Administration Team as required.
  • Undertake additional duties that align with the role’s nature and scope.

This role operates within a close-knit team in an open office environment. It’s a fast-paced position, requiring precision and promptness to meet strict deadlines. The role adheres to established security standards and their Company Code of Ethics.

In this role, you will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including department heads and team members. You will also interact with external entities, such as government agencies and training bodies.

Essential Personal Attributes include:

  • Proven expertise in risk management and decision-making based on risks.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with excellent keyboard skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Desirable Personal Attributes:

  • Previous experience in security-related roles.
  • Qualifications related to security and risk management.
