At Hutchison Catering we are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision meeting the bespoke requirements of each school and client that we serve across the UK.

We are currently looking for a Payroll / HR assistant to work at our Head Office (NE11)

The key duties of the Payroll Assistant are;

  • Contribute to the effective working of the payroll team to ensure 1st class, seamless service delivery.
  • Administer end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Post payroll transactions and investigate and resolve queries.
  • Process monthly payrolls.
  • Manage shared inboxes and other information received in relation to payroll.
  • Work closely with our colleagues to ensure we have accurate payroll data.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of service.
  • Contribute to the effective working of the Admin Department

The successful Payroll Assistant will;

  • Have previous payroll experience (preferably using Sage software)
  • Have experience in a high volume role
  • Be interested in developing their career alongside our fast expanding business

This is a full time position with a starting salary of between £20K - £22k
