Salary: Band G of the NCLT Support Staff Spine, £24,100 - £26,264 depending on experience. A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.

As a HR Generalist, the Trust Human Resources Officer will work as part of the broader Trust Human Resources Team, but specifically leading on HR at New College Pontefract, to provide a comprehensive range of HR support, across the full employee lifecycle. You will undertake work in areas such as recruitment and selection, new starter processes, contracts, HR management systems and employment relations issues (sickness absence, flexible working requests, performance issues etc). The role will be based primarily at New College Pontefract but travel to other sites within the Trust may be required, on occasion.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of being successful in administrative roles. Previous HR experience is preferred but not essential. You will have high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a willingness to undertake further training relevant to the role and the ability to work flexibly, under pressure balancing changing priorities.
