The Human Resources Generalist provides HR guidance and support to the company. The areas of focus are employee relations, talent development, leave administration, performance management, retention, disciplinary actions and compensation administration.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide HR guidance to ZOLL employees and management team on a variety of HR- and business-related items that require sound HR practices and perspectives.
  • Partner with Human Resources colleagues on employee relations and performance management issues and seek legal guidance when necessary.
  • Interprets HR policies and procedures for employees and managers and makes recommendations for potential improvements.
  • Complying with federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Conducts new employee orientations, employee relations counseling, Employee surveys and exit interviews.
  • Complete annual regulatory reporting requirements (OSHA, EEO/AAP, etc.).
  • May administer or provide back up to other HR staff in the area of Leave of Administration (FMLA process, ADA accommodations, STD/LTD and Workers Compensation processes).

Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources management
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role/matrix environment
  • Effective working knowledge of UK employment law, Employee Leave of Absences and HRIS.
  • Must be well organized and possess the ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrated project and time management skills, with an ability to set and maintain priorities to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment; handle a multitude of tasks; and adapt to change.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred as is experience with WorkDay
