Job content
Reporting into the on-site HR Manager, and part of the wider HR and L&D Team. The HR Administrator supports the smooth running of the HR function on site, acting as a Sofina values champion at all times and supporting the Sofina people agenda.
Duties Include;
- Act as the face of the HR department in person, via telephone and via e-mail, providing advice and guidance or signposting employees and managers as appropriate and in line with company policies and procedures
- To maintain and update people record, including e-files and HR/T&A system data
- Support the recruitment process from end to end
- Maintain absence management processes.
- Administer starter/leaver processes including all documentation e.g. right to work and new starter paperwork,
- Provide administration for all employee relations processes and take minutes in relevant employee meetings.
- Support the employee engagement and people plan.
- Act as the Sofina values/brand champion, co-ordinating site visuals to ensure that the site looks and feels on brand, in line with values and part of the wider Sofina group
- Support KPI completion/reporting.
Skills and Experience Required ;
Essential
- Administrative experience with some exposure to manufacturing or a similar environment
- Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills
- Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
- Strong IT skills with a working understanding of Microsoft Office
Desirable
- CIPD L3 Diploma, this can either be working towards or willing to study for.
- A familiarity with HR systems
