The DoubleTree by Hilton Hull is delighted to announce we are seeking a Human Resources Administrator on a fixed term contract (six months), to support the Human Resources division across two hotels (DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln and DoubleTree by Hilton Hull). The successful individual will be based at DoubleTree By Hilton Hull.
The successful Human Resources Administrator will support the end to end recruitment and onboarding process within the hotel, ensuring a consistent and streamlined approach with each and every hire. You will deliver an outstanding service to both internal and external team members/candidates, and ensure a high level of professionalism is maintained at all times.
We are seeking a highly motivated, inspirational and upbeat character looking to gain an insight into Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advertising vacancies on job boards and liaising with recruitment agents
- Building, maintaining relationships and being the key contact for external recruitment contacts (job centre, etc.)
- Pre-screening and interviewing candidates alongside management
- Administration and compliance for recruitment and new starters
- Overall management of the recruitment process, ensuring processes are followed and streamlined
- Attending job fairs when required
- Leading new employee inductions
- Administration, including drafting offer letters, contracts of employment, letters etc.
- Ensuring use of the HR Toolkit and supporting hotel employees to use the toolkit correctly and efficiently
- Leading training sessions following Hilton brand standards
- Logging and monitoring staff training
- Using the computer and telephone to liaise with internal and external customers
- Maintain employee files to ensure organised and complaint e-files and hard folders are kept for all employees
- Maintain excellent communication with the Hotel’s finance team and all other internal departments
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion is maintained at all times
- Adhere to the employee handbook and all company policies and procedures
