Permanent

Up to £30000 per annum (depending on experience)

Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week

We are working with an established client based in Shropshire, who currently have a fantastic opportunity to join their team and oversee the health, Safety and Environmental activities and systems within their manufacturing facility. Working closely with all internal teams, this will be an excellent opportunity for either someone who currently has sole responsibility for HSE looking for a move, or someone who is looking for their first step into an autonomous HSE role.

The HSE Coordinator Will Be Responsible For
  • Manage all HSE policies, procedures, and systems (OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001)
  • Ensure site legal compliance, working with internal departments and the management team to advise and enforce on any changes or updates
  • Develop and facilitate the site risk assessments relating to all activities
  • Manage any accident investigations, hazard and near miss reporting and ensure corrective and preventative actions are put in place
  • Provide and report monthly HSE KPI data to the management team
  • Responsibility for all HSE operating procedure updates and documentation
  • Control all R.I.D.D.O.R reporting
Skills And Experience
  • Previous experience in a health and safety, and environmental role within a manufacturing organisation
  • Previous experience driving a positive HSE culture
  • NEOSH Diploma or equivalent
