E.G.Lewis Group are seeking an HR & Training Coordinator to join our growing organisation. The successful applicant will be based at Llandarcy, Neath. The role is full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week and offers a competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience).

The HR & Training Coordinator’s main roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that new starters have been inducted and that a personnel and training file is established for each worker.
  • Manage personnel files and records to ensure a full and correct set of records is maintained for each worker.
  • Establish electronic personnel and training files for each worker.
  • Maintain the company training matrix and training records.
  • Identify and organise training and refresher training needs to maintain compliance.
  • Identify and organise safety critical medicals, recalls and blood tests.
  • Monitor attendance / absence, ensuring that back to work interviews are conducted and records maintained.
  • Flag persistent and long-term sickness absences to management for review / action.
  • Work with the HR Consultant to ensure that each worker has a contract of employment and job description.
  • Organise drug and alcohol testing as required.

Essential:

  • IT Literate, familiar with MS Office programmes including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must be enthusiastic and committed
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to commute to and from Llandarcy area
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a human resources / training related role
