Overview:
Our UK HR team is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable HR Projects Manager, with a strong, hands-on operational HR background, who will thrive in this fast-paced global environment. The successful candidate will take both a strategic & hands-on approach to support cultural evolution. You will have a grounding in project management, such that good quality plans are drawn up and executed to make a positive difference to the organisation. You will need excellent communication skills, an ability to manage stakeholders of projects, whilst developing, implementing and embedding both existing and novel HR practices to support the evolution of the culture.

You will manage & drive the implementation of HR-related projects within the UK, working with a team of HR professionals to analyse, plan, design and deliver projects which improve the UK human resources offering and so add value to the Business. Working effectively and inclusively with a range of people, internally & externally, without losing sight of local & global HR goals. Proactive in seeking out ways for HR to add value to the organisation.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with HR and other business stakeholders, demonstrating a wide-ranging operational HR experience and showing a clear understanding of business operations
  • Lead / support implementation of a range of change management initiatives, further embedding HR’s position as true and trusted business partners
  • Contribute to the development of change management strategies and achieve buy-in to these by local, UK-wide and the global business as necessary
  • Manage several change workstreams simultaneously, including multiple, senior stakeholder management
  • Utilise data to produce information which informs decision-making and influence change activity
  • Produce written presentations / documents for presentations at various organisational levels
  • Demonstrate an understanding of change management and how to support teams to manage and deliver lasting change through complex change processes
  • Improvement activities include involvement in review of all HR policies and processes, with particular emphasis on retention, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, Talent management, etc.
Qualifications:
  • A level 7 MCIPD or above CIPD (or Level 5 and working towards Level 7)
  • Project management qualification
  • An accredited Change Management qualification is also desirable

Experience:
  • Experience of a large matrix organisation, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust to changing preferences in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build and deliver professionalism through combining business acumen & HR expertise to bring value to the organisation, peers and other stakeholders
  • Have the influential means by which to gain the necessary commitment and support in pursuit of establishing HR value to the organisation
  • Understands the value of HR data and quickly and easily identifies key trends using data insights and knowledge in a structured way to identify options, make recommendations and take robust, defendable decisions. i.e. apply data-driven analytics to drive insight-led people transformation activities.
  • Experience in sound decision-making, clear articulation of the rationale and being able to engage people on the journey
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in facilitating workshops with a range of stakeholders
  • Project management; delivery of business projects with a high level of people change or a background or experience in generalist HR
  • Strong Microsoft suite skills and application
