Job Description

Managing the Human Resources Department effectively and in line with business requirements.

Managing 1 direct reportProviding generalist HR support and advice, delivering a high level of customer service to Managers and Employees

Serving as a point of contact for employees and managers for human resources issues, rules and regulations

Advice to be provided on HR issues such as:

  • Performance management
  • Absence management
  • Discipline and grievance cases
  • Driving recruitment and selection at all levels,
  • Conducting exit interviews


Managing the HR system data ensuring correct and monitoring HR KPI’s

Working with key stakeholders in order to deliver the HR strategy at site level

The Successful Applicant

  • Have worked in Food Manufacturing/Manufacturing in a HR role
  • Good working knowledge of employment law legislation
  • Must be a good problem solver with the ability to identify issues and resolve these in a timely manner
  • Must be able an excellent communicator both written and verbally
  • Must be able to prioritise and plan own work activities to use time effectively
  • Must be organised with attention to detail
  • Must be dependable and able to follow instructions and able to demonstrate the ability to work with little supervision
  • Self motivated, highly resilient and tenacious with a "can do - will do" attitude
  • Great all round administrative skills with strong PC skills; ideally MS Office
  • CIPD qualification or part qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to work with changing demands

What’s on Offer
