An experienced HR Manager is needed to join an established and growing multi-site organisation at their office in North Devon as the HR Manager.

This is a newly created role and is rare opportunity for a proactive personnel professional to join a business leading the way in its sector.

HR Manager – The Role: As part of a friendly, dedicated Human Resources team, the HR Manager is a business-critical role where you will be responsible for all aspects of the HR function, reporting to the Group HR DIrector.
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting managers and staff in the organisation with information and advice to enable them to meet the organisation’s objectives
  • Developing HR strategy
  • Accurately maintain HR systems and records
  • Provide HR advice and support on a wide range of issues including: Disciplinary and Grievance Capability and conduct issues Employment legislation Contractual issues Recruitment and staff planning Training and development
  • Ensure employee relations are managed appropriately and in line with employment regulations
  • Review and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain and produce data, metrics and statistics on HR processes
  • Advise managers in HR policies and practices
  • Keep up to date with changes in employment law
  • Provide administrative and executive HR support to managers
  • Support organisation performance and business strategy HR Manager
  • About You: We are keen to hear from CIPD Level 5 practitioners with excellent personnel knowledge, proven ability in delivering all aspects of an effective HR function.
You will be a self-starter with a high energy approach and a desire to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.

With a track record in managing staff, you’ll be a first-rate communicator able to inspire, persuade and influence with the ability to positively manage and empower others to achieve.

HR Manager
