We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the HR Systems Team that forms part of the HR Shared Service Centre at Amey. You will report into the HR Systems Manager and be responsible for supporting the day to day maintenance of the HR Systems within Amey, in addition to supporting developments and improvements. As well as bringing your own skill set and ideas, in the role you’ll have opportunity to learn off a forward thinking and dynamic team, who support development and growth.

The chosen candidate will have line management responsibility of two HR Systems Advisers, who primarily support the business by managing the organisation structure in SAP and providing front line HR Systems support to employees and the teams within the HR Service Centre.

We are looking for a technically minded individual who has worked previously within a similar role in HR Systems, who has a strong focus on customer service. You will play a key role in the team in deciding the approach and direction of the HR Systems offering and will have opportunity get involved in projects to upgrade and implement new systems.


What will this role involve?

  • Provide proactive support to the HR frontline teams by resolving technical cases
  • Directly advise and support customers with issues and resolutions in relation to the Employee HR Portal (Employee Self Service)
  • Making changes to the organisation structure in the live SAP environment
  • Working with the wider Team and IT on system upgrades and implementations
  • Delivering training to other team members and Super Users
  • Troubleshoot system issues from both the business and the HR teams
  • Line management of two HR Systems Advisers

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience of working within a similar role HR Systems
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An analytical thought process with the ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Desire to develop technical knowledge and expertise
