HR Manager - Wellingborough – £45k - £50k subject to experience

Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced HR Manager to join an established Automotive business based in Wellingborough, with travelling to other UK sites within the business.

THE ROLE

To ensure that the HR function within the business reflects best practice, is professional and is legally compliant. To maintain these functions and to develop processes and procedures to advise, support and mentor line management in the provision of general HR functionality as a business partner. Reporting to the Managing Director; key aspects of the role-
  • Championing progressive HR functionality across the business model in all stages of the employee life cycle
  • Maintaining documents and data required for management and human resources administration.
  • Supporting managers in HR processes and procedures
  • Leading, coordinating, and implementing HR related training
  • Maintaining a productive and supportive professional working partnership with the Directors, and colleagues
  • Leading and supporting employee teams.
  • Help to coordinate all formal HR processes ensuring a fair and systematic approach.
  • Maintaining operational continuity with a systematic and consistent procedure.
  • Managing personal development.
  • Develop induction program.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a generalist HR environment, with at least two years proven management experience
  • Be able to target opportunities for continuous improvement through training and coaching.
  • Be a self-starter and able to target priorities, take action and exhibit excellent follow up. Pro-active and flexible support person
  • Ability to garner respect and maintain a trusted profile with Heads of Department
  • Well organised; a multi-tasker
  • Excellent communication skills; good written and spoken English
  • Strong leadership skills and practice leadership by example
  • Excellent administrative skills; computer literate Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Outgoing personality, open minded and flexible
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Third level qualification or CIPD Level 5 as a minimum
  • You may have experience of the following: HR Officer, HR Manager, CIPD, Human Resources, HR Business Partner etc.
