Role: HR/HSE Administrator
Location: Meadowhall
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000

I’m thrilled to working with a fantastic business based in near Meadowhall, who are looking to expand their team with a HR/HSE Administrator. In this role, you would be responsible for providing the day-to-day administrative support, focusing specifically on all aspects of the employment lifecycle and Health and Safety. This role will support compliance, best practice and enable the development of the respective departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The production and processing of all HR documents for new starters, leavers and changes that occur across the business and ensuring associated records are complete across all HR and HSE systems.
  • Provide general HSE administration support to the HSE Manager, including monitoring training and booking needs and maintaining registers.
  • Monitoring the use and stock levels of first aid and HSE equipment and PPE.
  • Accurately maintain the HR and HSE databases and participate in any system development activity as directed.
  • Owner of the HR and HSE mailboxes and first point of contact for related matters, responding, signposting and escalating as required.
  • Proactively contribute to HR and HSE initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support recruitment campaigns alongside the Business Partner and Hiring Managers.
  • Support the new starter and annual health surveillance checks and workplace monitoring.
  • Proactively monitor absences
  • Participate in safety walks, Tool Box Talks, or briefings as required.
  • Minute taking as required

Person specification:

The ideal candidate for this role should have previous experiences in a similar role, with:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A good understanding of English and Maths
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Detail orientated
  • Adaptable and resourceful
  • Proficient in MS Office programmes

Salary & Benefits:
