We are looking for an HR Business Partner on behalf of our client it the Medway area. The role is hybrid and we therefore seek someone in the Kent area who drives and is able to visit other sites when necessary. You will be part of a job share responsible for providing advice, support & training of Managers in all aspects of employee relations, including employment law, disciplinary, grievance, mediation, absence and wellbeing, flexible working, change management and policy reviews.

This is a part-time 30 hours per week position and commands a FTE salary of £37,525 per annum. Benefits to include:

Key duties include:

  • Providing ER support on cases and issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary/grievance, dismissals, redundancy and change management, capability, and absence.
  • Building effective relationships with all Managers across the business to ensure ER best practice.
  • Supporting the management on long-term sickness absence, including occupational health referrals, EAP.
  • Working in partnership with the HR team interpreting metrics and data insights to support decision-making and overall reduction of ER cases.
  • Providing training/coaching on ER related areas e.g. disciplinary/grievance procedures, sickness absence.
  • Develop and maintain policies and ensure best practice and legislation is followed.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • CIPD L5 qualified (or equivalent)
  • Generalist HR experience within a fast-paced multisite environment, with a sound knowledge, understanding and practical application of employment law.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate with large groups as a facilitator and trainer.
  • Ability to influence and coach stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent MS office and data reporting skills.
