We are representing our client in their search for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team. This is your chance to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of a global organisation.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for delivering a wide range of consultative and HR support services to business leaders and employees across the Chelmsford site.

As a HR Business Partner, you will be a member of the Leadership team and will be responsible for partnering with the Senior Leaders and their Leadership Teams, providing advice and delivering value-added interventions in all areas of People.

A key part of the role will be delivery of HR related projects, such as organisational restructures and associated change management activities, initiatives, and transitions liaising and working closely with the Senior HR Leadership teams where appropriate.

As part of this role, you will be a mentor for others in the HR team and be responsible for day-to-day activities within this structure and driving a culture of continuous development and training.

This is a ‘hands-on’ where you will need to straddle both the strategic and operation aspects of HR.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted partner to operational teams, providing expert guidance on all HR matters.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management concerns.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with managers to develop appropriate action plans and provide coaching on employee-related issues.
  • Play an active role in the recruitment and selection processes.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring smooth integration into the company.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to employees and managers on various HR-related topics.
  • Stay updated with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending necessary policy changes.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Proven experience of delivering HR projects
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong experience in managing complex employee relations issues and conducting investigations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in HRIS software (Workday an advantage)
