Job Title: HR Business Partner for Multi Academy Trust

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: Up to £45,000

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our clients Multi Academy Trust, which is comprised of several schools across the Cambridgeshire area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to senior leaders and managers within the Trust, while also delivering a high-quality HR service to all staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the Trust’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Work in partnership with senior leaders and managers to provide effective HR advice and support, including coaching and mentoring.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process for all staff within the Trust, ensuring that it is conducted fairly and in line with relevant legislation.
  • Oversee the performance management process for all staff within the Trust, providing guidance and support to managers where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance team to ensure that the Trust’s budget for staffing is managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff within the Trust, ensuring that they are able to develop the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality education to pupils.
  • Ensure that the Trust is compliant with all relevant employment legislation and regulations, including GDPR and safeguarding.
  • Lead on HR projects and initiatives as required, such as the implementation of new HR software or the development of a well being strategy.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a senior HR role within an educational setting, ideally within a Multi Academy Trust.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and managers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems.
