HR Business Partner EMEA subregion SEMEA - 15 month fixed-term contract (maternity cover)

To provide generalist operational HR support to the SEMEA region which currently comprises France and Italy. This position is based in Guildford and is therefore located remotely from the circa 60 employees working in their local offices and various client sites in these countries. Occasional travel to France may be required. Fluency in French is a mandatory requirement for this role.

This position reports directly into the Chief HR Officer based in Stamford, USA.

Person Specification:
  • Fluent in French; language skills in any Italian would be an advantage
  • Previous HR experience in a European role, ideally within a professional services or technology environment
  • CIPD qualified to level 5 and/or certification(s) in European HR a distinct advantage
  • Competent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience of using UKG and SharePoint would be advantageous

Duties:
  • Recruitment
  • Work with Senior Managers to understand their hiring needs. Ensure that all hiring decisions are within the agreed budget and compensation parameters
  • Maintain hiring tracker and provide hiring forecast information to the Finance Team
  • Hiring and On-Boarding
  • Release new hire offer/letters and contracts, review sub-contractor SOWs and agreements
  • Hold one-to-one HR induction with new hires and assist in the co-ordination and delivery of the EMEA Onboarding Programme
  • Leavers
  • Ensure leavers understand the exit process. Provide and obtain necessary leaver documents as required
  • Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the organization. Work with the HR team to analyse results and identify any issues that may require further attention
  • Employee Relations
  • Act as first point of contact for People Managers and employees, providing guidance and advice as appropriate in all employee relations matters
  • Training
  • Request funding from the OPCO (Atlas) and book training courses in France as necessary
  • HR Metrics and Reporting
  • Provide HR metrics to the management teams as required e.g. annual leave balances, compensation analyses
  • Performance Management
  • Monitor annual and mid-year performance cycle activities
  • Provide advice to People Managers regarding performance issues as appropriate
  • Compensation, Benefits and Payroll
  • Support Senior Managers in the annual merit increase processes
  • Communicate any necessary changes to payroll in line with monthly deadlines
  • Support the Payroll Specialist with the submission of annual French declarations
  • Revise and administer the plan d’intéressement for ISG France
  • HR Administration (supported by the HR Assistant)
  • Facilitate the monthly Employee Representatives meeting for ISG France
  • Action any contract changes (e.g. contract renewals, promotions, increases in salary/benefits) and produce appropriate paperwork
  • Update/release policies in line with local law when required
  • Maintain HR systems’ data
  • Maintain accurate HR files in both electronic and hard copy
  • Keep HR process and policy documents and the People Services intranet pages up-to-date as necessary
  • Review and approve HR-related invoices (legal support, recruitment etc.)
  • EMEA projects
  • Support the EMEA HR team and lead some EMEA projects (e.g., Talent Evaluation, commission plans, LRP…)
