Our HR Assistants provide a comprehensive, efficient and customer responsive HR service to line managers within our client businesses. You will be part of a team of over 200 HR professionals all providing advice and guidance online and via a telephony adviceline in relation to a number of ER topics.

The Role And Responsibilities Of a HR Assistant
  • Advising line managers on ER topics such as absence management, maternity, paternity and working arrangements in line with the clients policies and procedures and within agreed SLAs
  • Follow agreed principles to escalate cases when appropriate based on risk or stage of case
  • Capture and track all advice provided on internal call management system to ensure effective and proactive case management
  • Where required, to provide support to inbound call management, working with the Coordination team
Skills and experience required to be a successful HR Assistant:
  • Articulate, confident and fluent communicators demonstrating a high level of both oral and written English
  • A customer orientated approach and focus
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Advanced IT skills (Word processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Internet, MS Outlook)
  • A commercial/pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • A committed team player who is effective working with the team and independently
  • A keen interest in a career in HR
