THE POSTS - HR Assistant

We are looking to appoint two HR Assistants. The post-holder will join a welcoming team who are committed to the UWS strategy of valuing our people and ensuring UWS is a great place to work!


The position provides first line support, guidance on general employment matters and administrative support throughout the employment lifecycle. Reporting to the Recruitment & HR Administration Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the provision of a proactive and effective HR service.


You should have proven administrative experience, preferably in an HR setting to include:

  • producing employee related paperwork, including contracts of employment and induction packs.
  • using systems and providing data effectively
  • recruitment administration
  • Communicating with managers/employees and external contacts in relation to HR policies and procedures.
  • Note taking
  • Managing shared inboxes

You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and have the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines. With drive, enthusiasm and tenacity, you will be accustomed to operating within a busy environment.
