We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our client based in Poole. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move onto the next step of their HR career.

Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide advice to management on employee relations and management issues
  • Deal with various HR queries throughout the business
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees
  • Liaise with recruiting managers and agencies regarding CV’s and employee onboarding
  • Coordinate HR employee inductions
  • Identifying ways to improve existing policies and procedures within HR
  • Monitoring key HR metrics, such as turnover and retention rates to ensure proactive support
  • Provide advice and play a major role in work reviews which will include disciplinaries
  • Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation

Skills & experience:

  • Experience of working in a HR role dealing with recruitment and HR admin
  • Good interpersonal skills in order to effectively deal with employees
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Up to date with employment law and HR best practices
