What We Offer:

Part Time – 30 hours per week, hours and days to be agreed

Salary £28,875 per annum (£23,100 per annum for 30 hours)

​Your base will be: Sale Road, Heartsease, Norwich, NR7 9TP (with travel to other offices as required)

Annual leave entitlement of 26 days – pro rata for part time hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking for an HR Advisor to join our team in supporting the organisation in a full range of HR activities.

​The Role

Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner the successful candidate will have a generalist HR background and be able to demonstrate experience of supporting managers in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, to include:

  • Providing a professional, high quality, proactive and effective HR service to operational areas and the wider HR Team.
  • Providing support, training, coaching and advice to line managers in a timely and consistent manner to enable them to effectively respond to day to day employee relations matters, undertaking HR casework and escalating cases appropriately to the Senior Business Partner.
  • Monitoring HR KPIs, identifying trends and proactively influencing actions to improve upon targets (e.g. retention, absence, turnover)
  • Support our passionate, hardworking HR team in our aim to attract, engage and progress the best people to support our charity.
  • Preparing management information as required to support the site management team or Senior HR team as required weekly/monthly/annual and responding to other ad-hoc requests.
  • Supervise, support and provide day to day guidance to the HR admin team

Among Other Responsibilities You Will:

Provide HR guidance, support and coaching to our Managers covering all stages of the employee lifecycle, from attraction to development as well as exit interviews.

Reporting on HR KPIs, identifying trends and proactively influencing these to improve upon targets (e.g. retention, absence, turnover)

Support our passionate, hardworking HR team in our aim to attract, engage and progress the best people to support our charity.

Providing support, coaching and advice to line managers in a timely and consistent manner to enable them to effectively respond to day to day matters of employee relations, escalating cases appropriately to the HR Business Partner/Senior Business Partner.

Preparing management information as required to support the site management team or Senior HR team as required weekly/monthly/annual and responding to other ad-hoc requests.

What We Are Looking For

To have previous generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment

To be CIPD level 5 qualified

To be confident in your decision making and have strong interpersonal and influencing skills

Demonstrable knowledge of current UK employment law

Experience of working in a similar generalist role

Ability to manage work autonomously and manage own diary
