Here at GXO, we have recently implemented a new HR structure for our Drinks Business Unit and are now on the lookout for HR Professionals that excel at implementing new processes and setting high standards. This position will give you maximum opportunity to develop and really make your mark!
We’re looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our Drinks Business Unit in Derby. You’ll support the delivery of a first-class people service in all areas of the employee life cycle, including HR, Payroll and Engagement
This is a Permanent full time role working Monday to Friday however flexibility is required – this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £25,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support the build of the HR function, implementing processes and systems to deliver objectives, playing an active part in the contract ethos and strategy
  • Maintain the HR system and associated records, such as sickness and holiday entitlement
  • Get involved in ER issues, recruitment, employee engagement and organisational change
  • Prepare and process letters, meeting minutes and other documents as and when required

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience working in a HR environment preferred dealing with ER and recruitment activity
  • Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Strong in systems - HRIS, Microsoft Office such as word and Excel
  • Experience of undertaking a broad range of tasks including working with and advising employees and line managers on employee relations issues
