Human Resources Administrator

We’re looking for an HR Administrator to join the Vetting & Compliance team at Talentia Group, based in Easton Morton near Keighley in Yorkshire. You will be supporting the Vetting & Compliance team to provide administrative support for our contractors and clients to clear new hires for work in contract and placement jobs up and down the UK. This will be based predominantly in the office with option for some homeworking after completion of probation period. On the job training will be provided by the Vetting and Compliance Manager to grow your knowledge of procedures and all brands within the group.

The role

You will be responsible for:

· Liaising with clients and candidates, managing and updating company databases, pre-employment checks, building new procedures in various areas of the business to improve efficiency, updating policies and providing advice to management within the business

· Administrative duties such as maintaining central records and updating reports

· Pre employment checks

· Developing and updating policies and procedures

· Providing support and advice to the business, the MD, the sales team and other support staff where necessary

· Issuing offer letters, contracts, and any other employment related paperwork

· Liaise with contractors and clients to manage and meet their expectations

· Keep up to date with changes business applicable UK legislation

· You will be encouraged to suggest process changes to improve ways of working

What you get:

· This role is office-based in our East Morton office near Keighley.

· The salary on offer is £20,000 with progression opportunities.

· You will have 22 days of annual plus bank holidays to take each year. This increases by 1 day for each of service up to a max of 5.
