HR Administrator: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract: Bristol: Paying £10.32 per hour

Our leading Telecoms client are currently looking for a strong HR Administrator to provide essential transactional support across the business. As the HR Administrator you will report into the HR Team Leader and be the first point of contact for new colleagues coming into the business, supporting them through the whole colleague life cycle. This will include processing new starters, on boarding new hires and off boarding leavers, issuing employment contracts and completing general administrative activities. Further duties include:

  • Processing contract changes for multiple scenarios e.g. internal hires, one off payments, TUPE Terms & Conditions; using the internal HR Systems & ensuring all the right process & policy has been followed prior to the contract submission.
  • Ensuring all off boarding activities have been completed prior to new hires starting employment, including exit interview/leavers checklist
  • Completing transactions in salary changes, role code changes, one-off payments and internal company move contracts
  • Completing Reward queries/cases and raising anything complex to the HR SME
  • Contributing to the delivery of objectives and service level agreements.
  • Completing new joiner tasks such as including start date changes, pay details, educational certifications, uniform ordering, ID pass ordering etc.
  • Processing any administrative task to do with sick pay, including return to works and extension to sick pay.
  • Providing a professional, friendly and quick service to all colleagues & customers.
  • Working closely with other internal teams to support and resolve problems.

To be considered for this role, strong administrative and communication skills are essential coupled with an ability to learn quickly in a busy, high volume environment. Further skills and attributes required are as follows:

  • An ability to prioritise your own workload in an efficient manner and anticipate problems
  • A professional and personable approach to work, both face to face and via phone/email
  • Good working knowledge of HR policies and processes would be a bonus

Due to the urgent nature of this requirement, only those with no-short notice period can be considered. There is potential for this role to be made into a permanent position for the right person.
