6 months FTC

This is an exciting full time role, working from our new offices in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

The role of a HR Administrator

As a HR Administrator, you will be providing great service to your internal customers. This role will cover what we call our Specialist Distribution businesses, they include Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, NDI & Bathroom Distribution Group. There are around 800 colleagues in this part of the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the business with onboarding such as preparing offer letters, induction packs, contract change letters, colleague references, and other HR related activities
  • Responsibility for the administration of the HR function, providing a proactive advisory service to your stakeholders
  • Communicating with colleagues in areas including offers of employment, probation periods and any changes to terms and conditions
  • Ensuring all sites are completing inductions in line with process
  • Receiving internal and external calls, providing a first-rate HR support service
  • Participating in implementing of HR policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with employment law and training managers on the policies as required
  • Supporting managers and colleagues on all HR related queries that flow through the HR inbox
  • Ensuring that all colleague records remain up to date on the PXD and other related HR systems such as Workvivo, GRAB and Kallidus
  • Ensuring the required employment documentation is legally compliant with all current HR legislation and GDPR requirements
  • Working with other HR colleagues, including supporting with, communication and mandatory training
  • Contributing to the continual development of the other HR Self-Service Systems
  • Analysis of HR data for the completion of the HR Scorecard as well as looking at improving processes and procedures
  • Undertaking and assisting with HR projects as and when required
  • Working with the other shared services across the Group
