Bradford, West Yorkshire

Temporary ongoing, 20 hours

Our client, a Support Provider based in Bradford, West Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to assist clients with a range of complex needs including those who may be facing homeless within sheltered housing schemes. The ideal candidate will empower their caseload and encourage them to adhere to good practices across Tenancy Management and Housing

Duties Of The Housing Support Worker Include
  • Carrying and liaising with own caseload supporting multiple needs clients (females in hostel setting and males and females in dispersed properties),
  • Undertaking associated voids and housing management
  • Dealing with general office duties ie answering telephone and drop in clients queries
  • Supporting clients to move towards independent living and become ’tenancy ready’, working constructively with clients and Partner Agencies through Support and Risk Management Addressing money management, tenancy management, personal hygiene, cooking and diet
  • Carrying out tasks to ensure health and safety in the scheme’s properties, ensuring fixtures and fittings are kept clean and well maintained and that repairs are reported and dealt with promptly
The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Full UK driving licence
