Housing Manager based at Swindon and Chippenham Area

Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week.

About The Role

We are looking for experienced Housing Managers to join MHA. In this role you will provide a tailored, resident focussed and comprehensive housing management service for different tenures for a large site or across a cluster of Retirement Living Schemes within a designated geographic location. This will include void management, repairs, allocations, lettings and arrears collection. In addition you will lead on health and safety compliance at each scheme, look to resolve anti-social behaviour and contribute to performance reporting and policy development.

About You

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:-
Evidence of practical experience in Housing Knowledge and understanding of, allocations, housing management, community involvement and tenant participation Knowledge of current issues in housing and local government A good level of literacy, including computer skills. Must be able to use Microsoft products with the ability to produce and interpret management information and reports. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Experience of innovation and creativity in decision making and problem solving Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team Ability to manage financial plans/budget Ability to communicate verbally in a clear, concise and succinct and assertive manner, with awareness of the audience and the ability to write reports clearly and concisely Ability to liaise, build and promote positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Resilient and able to keep calm under pressure Emotional intelligence with the ability to understand who your customers are and what matters to them Ability to manage and facilitate change and to negotiate and influence effectively
