Job IntroductionAs a Housekeeperat Sodexo in North Devon District Hospital, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital. You will play a key role in preventing the spread of infection and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our patients, staff, and visitors. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What you’ll do:- Maintain patient safety by keeping their rooms, wards, communal areas, restrooms, and other hospital areas clean.
- Strip and clean beds and collect linen
- Clean desks, ceilings and vents, walls, blinds, and other surfaces to create a sterile, safe environment.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, polish floors, and replenish supplies
- Emptying bins and waste containers
- Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Ability to perform physical aspects of the job
- Exceptional customer service skills: a willingness to go above and beyond

- 09:00-15:00, Any 3 days a week including weekends
