An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hotel Services Assistant to join our professional Catering team at the West Midlands Hospital, working under the direction of the Head Chef.

The role will be varied and include shifts in both our ward pantry and kitchen.

Duties will include:

  • Taking orders and serving food and drinks to both patients and guests
  • Keeping the pantry clean and tidy and adhering to all food safety legislation
  • Preparation of food serving staff/consultants
  • Taking payments
  • Cleaning dining and kitchen area
  • Replenishment of staff beverages


The successful candidate will be required to be flexible to cover various shifts including weekends.


Candidates will need excellent customer service skills and previous food service experience is desirable, although full training will be given.
