We are excited to be recruiting a Hotel Operations Manager for a stunning and reputable hotel in North East Lincolnshire. The property has undergone significant refurbishment and re-opned last month and is already the talk of the town! Do you want to be part of the team and a property that has the wow factor? Read on….
The key focus of the property will be to provide quality accommodation partnered with an F&B offering that will stand out in the local area and be THE place to eat & drink. The F&B operation will consist of a stylish Restaurant space, Bar, extensive lounge and private dining space for upto 30. The ultimate goal will be to reach for the stars with 1 AA Rosette a minimum requirement. As the Operations Manager you will oversee the entire Food & Beverage operation and team, taking responsibility for ensuring high standards of service are consistently delivered. Supported by an experienced Restaurant Manager and Bars Manager you will guide the team and focus on Operational standards.
You are the ultimate hospitality professional able to make each and every guest feel special and have the ability to encourage, and motivate team members to do the same. Your outstanding knowledge of all things food and drink related will inspire those working with you and you will enjoy sharing your knowledge and making sure regular training and development is on the menu!

Contributing to the hotels strategic planning activities, you will take an active role in driving food and beverage sales, forecasting, creating and marketing a hotel calendar of food and beverage events.

You will manage the department’s payroll budget as well as other food and beverage operating costs in line with the budget ensuring targeted profit contributions are achieved.

Of course, being an Ops Manager requires a lot of skill and dedication, so you will have incredible organisational skills and attention to detail, along with stamina and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

About You
  • You will already have Food & Beverage management experience with Restaurant & Bar within a quality Hotel and experience of managing a 1AA + Rosette restaurant
  • You will have excellent knowledge of wines and some Sommelier experience would be an advantage
  • You will have experience of leading a team and will enjoy developing team members and motivating them to be their best.
  • You’ll be motivated by delivering outstanding service and enjoy building rapport with guests and colleagues
  • Most of all, you’ll have a professional, organised, charming and friendly approach
